[RecFIN News] Wave 3, 2002 Estimates

The MRFSS team at NOAA are concerned about the wave 3, 2002 RDD telephone data being potentially flawed in the estimator of fishing households. We have beed asked to remove the wave 3 estimates from the RecFIN website until the problem can be further researched. Please don't draw incorrect conclusions from the previously posted estimates that produced low numbers of trips and catch. We understand this is difficult, especially in the current setting with the recent closures. Please check back periodically for updates. 

The trip sample data still contain catch rates, which can be compared with earlier waves and years. The trip sample data can be summarized on the RecFIN web site at http://www.psmfc.org/recfin/forms/samp.htm.
