NOAA Fisheries Information System/Electronic Technologies/Catch Share Program FY 2022 Request for Proposals

NOAA’s Fisheries Information System program (FIS) has opened its FY 2022 RFP, sponsored in partnership with the Electronic Technologies program and the National Catch Share Program. This annual competitive RFP awards up to $5.5 million in funding (pending appropriations) for fishery-dependent data projects in the following focus areas:

  • Data Improvements, Modernization, and Integration.
  • Electronic Monitoring Implementation and Pre-Implementation.
  • Electronic Reporting Implementation and Pre-Implementation.
  • Fisheries Information Network Development.
  • Quality Management and Continuous Improvement.

FINs, state partners (through the Interstate Commissions), and NOAA regional offices, science centers, and headquarters are all eligible to compete. Pre-proposals due on April 9, 2021 and full proposals are due on June 18, 2021.
